In my work as an occupational therapist, I spend my days with children in our community who have special needs. I get to see their strengths, their growth, and also the challenges they and their families navigate every single day. I also see how much it matters when those families have real support, not just in therapy or school, but in their lives outside of it.
That’s where Friendship Circle comes in.
Many of the families I work with are directly impacted by their programs. Many of your children volunteer there, learning what it means to show up with patience, kindness, and true chessed. It’s one of those rare organizations that doesn’t just support children with special needs, it strengthens the entire community around them.
Being part of this community, and seeing this impact up close, makes this cause feel especially personal to me. If you’re able to support, even in a small way, it truly means a lot, and it helps ensure that these children and families continue to have the connection, joy, and support they deserve.
