Our love, passion, and involvement in Friendship Circle began four years ago when, as a father-daughter duo, we ran the Miami Marathon for Friendship Circle UES in 2019. By the end of marathon weekend, we were tremendously inspired by the amazing work Friendship Circle does and knew this was a "family" we wanted to be apart of. Fast forward, and we are now training for our FOURTH marathon for Friendship Circle UES.
The Friendship Circle exists to bring happiness and companionship to children and young adults with special needs, by celebrating their individuality, as well as bringing energy, support, and peace of mind to their families. Friendship Circle chapters in local communities create meaningful relationships and friendships between teen volunteers and children with special needs, increasing confidence, igniting dreams, and redefining worldviews for both parties.
On February 18, 2024 we will be running 13.1 miles in the Austin, Texas Marathon to raise money for Friendship Circle, an incredible cause with an outstanding vision to maximize friendship and inclusion for children and young adults with special needs.
If you don't run with us, we ask that you consider donating to our run. Aside from being an incredible motivation for us, the funds that we raise will be going to our local Friendship Circle chapter on the Upper East Side, which is extremely dear to us.
May your act of charity strengthen you as much as it has strengthened us and may Hashem bless you and your family with good health, success – both materially and spiritually – and only good things.
Thank you so much for supporting Team Froh and such an incredible organization. Our run wouldn’t be possible without people like you.❤️
