    ITINERARY + ROUTE
Day 1: Sunday | Welcome to Montana | Arrive in Bozeman, Montana, and transfer to West Yellowstone | Fawn Pass

Land in Bozeman, Montana, where your VIA JOLLEY guides will be waiting to take you from the airport to the West Yellowstone. We'll head south on Highway 191 into the spectacular Gallatin Canyon, following the Gallatin River between towering canyon walls, forests and wide- open mountain valleys. We'll make a quick scenic stop along the Gallatin River before continuing into the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park.
Our first hike begins from the Fawn Pass Trailhead along Highway 191. We'll follow the opening section of the trail through Yellowstone's quiet northwest backcountry, crossing parts of the Gallatin River and hiking through forest and open mountain meadows with views towards the Gallatin Range. This is excellent wildlife country, so we'll keep our eyes open for elk, bison, moose and other Yellowstone wildlife along the way.
