This March, I’ll be running my first Half Marathon - The NYC Half Marathon, and I’m incredibly excited to be doing it in support of an organization that means a lot to me - The Friendship Circle.
I first got involved with the Friendship Circle back in high school as a volunteer, and the experience left a lasting impact on me. Their mission is to create inclusive, supportive communities for children and teens with special needs. I saw firsthand how their programs bring joy, confidence, and connection to so many children and families and how much behind the scenes work goes into making that happen.
Now, I’m honored to give back in a new way by running this half marathon and raising money on their behalf. If you’re able, I’d be grateful for your support.
